Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Urge is provided by Save My Day, Denmark ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@urgeapp.dk.

What we collect

Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and either a hashed password or a passkey credential. We use your email address to sign you in and to send account emails such as verification codes and password resets. We do not send marketing email.

Well-being data. The things you do in the app — your daily activity, focus runs, reflections, and settings — are stored under a random account identifier. This data is kept separate from your email address and is not linked to your name or identity.

Purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. We receive a signed confirmation of the purchase from Apple or Google so we can unlock what you bought.

Feedback. If you send feedback through the app, we store the message you write so we can act on it.

Diagnostics. When something goes wrong, we collect error reports and server logs. These can include technical details such as your IP address, device model, operating system version, and what the app was doing at the time. We use them only to find and fix problems.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide the app, process your purchases, answer your feedback, send account emails, and keep the service running reliably. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Service providers

We run our own servers, and most of your data stays on them. A few carefully chosen providers process data on our behalf:

These providers are bound by data-processing agreements and may only use the data to perform their service for us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and well-being data for as long as you have an account. Diagnostic logs and error reports are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Backups are encrypted and rotate out over time.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account directly in the app. This permanently removes your account and the data stored under it. You can also email us at support@urgeapp.dk and we will delete it for you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@urgeapp.dk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Passwords are stored hashed, passkeys never leave your device's secure hardware, and backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

Urge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
